SouthWest NanoTechnologies, Inc. (SWeNT) is a privately held independent specialty chemical firm, manufacturing single wall carbon nanotubes for a broad array of specialty products. Customized SWeNT™ nanotubes are available for application development. SWeNT was incorporated in April of 2001 to spin off nanotube research developed by the University of Oklahoma with extensive support from ConocoPhillips, the National Science Foundation (NSF), the National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science & Technology (OCAST), and others.
